This brand new baby bird is made of soft organic sherpa cotton and its beak and legs are wool felt. The rattle sits inside the bird's belly surrounded by polyfilling. It has a very good rattle sound because baby birds want to be fed and this one clearly has a beak to be heard. The bird is approximately 6" tall and sleeps inside of a small cardboard box with its nest screen printed on the front. It can be washed in a cold delicate cycle and hung to dry.
The Artist/Designer: Fidoodle's goods are designed and illustrated by Jen Bulthuis. Jen’s new ideas take form through playful exploration and extremely serious observation. All of her products are built from natural and recyclable materials like wood, cardboard, paper and organic cotton, and each modern design is constructed to ignite play, story-telling and the continuation of creation. “These objects are intended for all to play with. Often the littlest among us have such good stories because they get to practice. Now we can all practice.”
